Almira is living proof that weight training, good nutrition and cardio are the foundation upon which amazing transformations happen. Why is getting in shape is soooo difficult to do? It’s so hard and I was so determined that I decided to hire a a personal trainer. And the winner is Hollis Liebman. He was GREAT I tell ya! Working every muscle and muscles I didn’t know I had. Every session was held at this amazing gym in West Hollywood called Fitness Factory. This gym’s great because it completely opens up on warm SoCal days to let the sunshine in What I really love about Hollis’ workouts are they’re different every time. He works different parts of your body so you have time to recupe from the last grueling session with him. He uses apparatus-like straps strung from the ceiling for some of the exercises making you use your own body strength such as push-ups. Talk about awkward I’m just not used to doing push-ups while my legs are dangling from straps - quite the balancing act really. Other sessions with Hollis include working on machines like pull-ups and dips. He’ll also have you use free weights. He handed me the barbell and I literally couldn’t move it, that’s how strong I am - uh NOT! One of my fav exercises was doing lunges with my arms straight up. Wasn’t sure what the added benefit was but was told it also works your core while working your legs, thighs and gluts. Hey, anytime you can strengthen your core, DO IT! With a strong core, you can utilize your abs instead of straining your back (great for low back pain sufferers). But the best part of the workout, other than the end of course, is Hollis stretching you out. Omg! Those strong hands should be illegal His stretches are always a treat and a great way to you send you on your way to a happy day

So y’all join me in this exciting adventure to getting in shape, even if you have to hire a trainer to do so

Hollis is an excellent personal trainer. Whatever his client’s goal, Hollis works hard to help them reach it. He maintains a level of professionalism, while making the workout fun with his wonderful sense of humor... Instead of just strapping you to a machine, Hollis incorporates different methods to give you a complete workout. After only one month training with Hollis, I can already tell a huge difference. I am more toned than I ever have been.

Hollis is a highly motivating trainer and very invested in this field. Not only does he talk the talk, he walks the walk. When I was training with him, he was highly informative and took in all my dislikes about training with a customized workout to keep me motivated. The stretching was my favorite part ;-) Getting in shape is not a easy feat, but an experienced body specialist like Hollis puts it all into a scientific perspective.
